"Unplugged is not an option" is not just a motto for Day 2. It's a way of life. Day 2 is a band of five guys with diverse musical backgrounds coming together to play a powerful palette of rock 'n' roll, with tunes ranging from 60's hits by The Surfaris and the Stones to current chart-toppers by the likes of the Foo Fighters and 3 Days Grace.
Day 2 began as an idea - a discussion among workmates. The common thread was a love of music. There had always been talk of "Hey, we ought to get together and play." One day the idea became reality when our friend JB suggested that we put up or shut up, and prepare a show for an upcoming company function. In only 7 weeks we put on a great performance, the rest, as they say, is history. Since 2008 the Day2 band has been performing at Company Picnics, Festivals, and the Philly Rock & Roll Half Marathon.
